Hi Tom, can you start by telling us a bit about yourself.
I’m 23 years young and as geeky as they come. I love everything tech and can’t get enough of it. I’ve been at Q2Q for almost two years, and I’ve enjoyed nearly every day of it.
What does the typical day look like for you at Q2Q?
A typical day involves working through my tickets, making calls and setting up laptops and desktops. I also help out with the phones, and ticket logging should our Help Desk coordinator be unavailable.
Your ‘Tech Top Tip’?
My ‘Tech Top Tip’ is Windows’ clipboard history function. Once enabled, clipboard history will retain everything you have copied and pasted in on your desktop or laptop, including both text and pictures!
What do you like about working at Q2Q?
What I like the most about Q2Q is the variety. In just one day, I can experience the entire IT spectrum, from networking issues to hardware problems and the setup of shiny new equipment.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
When I’m not working, you can usually find me gaming, gardening, my nose in a book or out on a walk!
What has been your favourite moment whilst working at Q2Q?
My most favourite moments whilst working at Q2Q have been eating all the surprise pizzas, cakes and biscuits.
