Q2Q’s MD to deliver GDPR masterclass for Manchester marketers
You might have heard by now that our MD Andrew is not only an IT whizz, but also an EU certified GDPR practitioner – we certainly haven’t kept quiet about it!
Given the new data protection regulations present such a huge need for change amongst businesses throughout the UK – affecting everything from huge corporations to SMEs – there’s a rising demand amongst company owners and directors across all sectors, for easy-to-follow advice and practical tips on achieving compliance.
And it’s down to this growing need for GDPR support that Andrew has been invited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing to share his expertise at this year’s Smarter Business Tech LIVE event.
Taking place over two days from 15-16 November at the Manchester Central Complex, Andrew will deliver a talk entitled ‘Calling all marketers – are you GDPR-ready? Straight-talking tips every marketer must know…’. As part of the CIM Training Centre agenda, the 20-minute presentation will focus on demystifying the ‘grey areas’ of GDPR for marketers and breaking the intimidating jargon down into digestible tips and advice. Andrew’s session will also explain the framework of the new legislation and what it means for the marketing profession specifically.
After exploring some examples of best and worst practice when it comes to compliance, he’ll then invite questions that audience members have about their own GDPR preparation. And for those who might want to pick his brains even more, Andrew will be available for more detailed one-to-one discussions after the session.
