We’ve been supporting them for just over a year now and it’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know the team.
What was the issue?
Due to a number of office move-arounds and PC swaps, one office, in particular, had ended up in a bit of a mess cable-wise and needed some of Q2Q’s TLC and cable management know-how.
What did we do to fix this?
Here at Q2Q, our engineers take a special pride in our cable management skills. “That’ll do” is not a phrase that is entertained, and we strive to leave the desk setups we do, as easy on the eye as they are to use. We have a selection of different clips, strips, and tricks to tidy cables under and around desks as neatly as possible given the environment and socket placements. Snakeskin is a particular favourite of the lads, an expanding black mesh tube that can accommodate several cables in one run and tidies everything nicely.
What effect did it have for the client?
The obvious improvement in visual appeal aside, the area is now safer from a trip hazard perspective, while also protecting the IT equipment from damage through cables being yanked out unexpectedly.
Our clients at OSG now have a newfound shared love for “Cable Management” and have caught the bug! We have another order for a repeat exercise elsewhere in the business in the next week.
