What I do at Q2Q:

I’ve got my feet well and truly comfy under the desk, cannea believe it’s been over 2 years since stepping through the Q2Q door on the first day. Since then, there have been many adventures and challenges here and days remain varied ranging from London site visits to local Lancaster customers including the lovely OSG close to the hill top castle. We all strive to do our level best to help and support both one another and our ‘customers’ and the genuine supportive atmosphere within the team makes coming to work a journey with a smile.

Background and Achievements

After getting an Acorn computer as a young un for Christmas, IT became an interest that led to working for a Charity for several years. Helping them with their IT, from basic tasks through to the more complex issues.

I then moved to an IT Manager Services Provider which opened up exposure to new systems and different ways of working. I graduated with an upper Second-Class BSc Hons in Computer Science.

Hobbies and Interests

Currently very much DIY….hammer time…ranging from stripping out kitchens to renovating lofts, after putting up with a kitchen from the stones ages for so long, now is the time to modernise….after all done and dusted (excuse the pun 😉 I’m looking forward to cooking and baking in the new kitchen….all kinds of cuisine I’ll carry on experimenting with. Also enjoy exploring and taking advantage of living close to both the Cumbrian Lakes and Lock Lomond….aiming to add to the list of Munros I’ve climbed….two down so lots to go!!
