What I do at Q2Q:
I’m a Technical Support Engineer here at Q2Q, which means I get stuck into all sorts of tech—helping clients with day-to-day IT issues, troubleshooting problems, and working on bigger projects like system migrations. No two days are the same, and I enjoy being involved when something needs fixing or setting up.
Background and Achievements
After completing fulltime education, I started work in the Insurance Industry. Whilst working in the office, an opportunity arose to look after their small branch Novell Network. This kick started my interest in computer networking and user support. I then moved to a local civil engineering company where I supported their global infrastructure for 19 years. I was fortunate enough to see a bit of the world in this role and travelled to the USA, Russia, Sweden, France, and Germany. I enjoyed meeting the people and experiencing different cultures.
Hobbies and Interests
Walking in the Lake District, and listening to Kylie Minogue
